About PolarExplorers

PolarExplorers started 30 years ago as a small company with big ambitions. Back in 1993 we organized and guided the first-ever commercial North Pole Dogsled Expedition which saw us dogsleding and skiing from 88° North to the Geographic North Pole (120 nautical miles as the crow flies). Since then our passion has taken us around the globe guiding expeditions in some of the world's harshest and most beautiful environments.

 

Backed by our decades of experience we create exceptional and unique adventures for the intrepid traveler. Our expedition priorities are 1) to be safe and successful; 2) to transform our lives for the better; 3) to make lasting connections with people and places; and 4) to be positive stewards of our planet.

We know that the ends of the Earth are remote, extreme, often inhospitable and intensely beautiful. They are also historically rich destinations and among the last frontiers for the discriminating adventurer.
