Another 30 km Day

Actually it was 30.2 km - a seemingly small difference, but not if you are the person who did all the skiing! They'll take every tenth of a kilometer that they can get!

On the move - Wohoo!!!

It felt really, REALLY good to be on the move today. Conditions were good, perhaps a little cool and sometimes breezy, at least enough to cut through their layers, but nothing bad enough to prevent travel. And travel, they did!

Storm Winds and Loud Tents

There's not much to report from today. No one ventured outside the tent for much more than a moment. Once, when John ventured out, the wind blew his goggles right off his head. Luckily Eric found them buried deep in a snow drift a little later.

Together At Last!... (and at DYE 2!!)

An exciting day for the team! They started the day off as all their other days...  a lazy morning at Camp Heart Break looking ahead to a day of waiting. Even though the mushers were close they weren't expected to arrive until the evening.
