Sastrugi are frozen waves of snow on the ground, created by the relentless winds on the polar plateau. To a skier they are speed bumps. A major hassle.

We had our own blog "sastrugi" yesterday due to a server-side issue that has been resolved. If you couldn't access the blog yesterday you weren't alone! You'll find yesterday's blog "Half Way There" listed along with the other blogs.

The team is doing great and making good progress. We'll update you again today as soon as we hear from them!
