After a long, slippery day yesterday, the team finally set foot on solid group once again, successfully completing their crossing of the Vatnajokull Glacier! Luckily, the visibility was such that they were able to see a lot of the beautiful scenery surrounding the descent. As you can see from the photos, everyone is in a great mood (whether from completing this particularly challenging expedition, or from the idea of finally slipping into some dry shoes for a change, is unclear. Probably both!) Thank you all for following along for this cloudy and wet journey. There will be more photos to come here on the website, and on our social media.

A shout out and big thank you to Einar with Coast to Mountain for his great stories during the ride to the campground, and to Svinafell Campground for their hospitality.
